RPO hands over recovered valuables to affected people

GUJRANWALA, May 24 (WNP): Regional Police Officer (RPO) Tariq Abbas Qureshi Friday said it is the prime responsibility of the police to protect the life and property of the people.
He said this while handing over the looted valuables and cattle to the affected people at Hafizabad.
On this occasion, District Police Officer (DPO) Sajid Ali Kayani, notables of the area, traders and district bar members were present.
Under the supervision of DPO, police raided different hideouts and arrested 11 most wanted proclaimed offenders including 90 others who were involved in dacoities, burglary, street crimes, highway and petrol pump, cattle and motor cycles robberies.
The police recovered from their possession Rs4 million net cash, two dumper trucks, 26 buffalo, four cows,12 motor cycles, seven mobiles, seven goats, one car, jewelery, weapons, cartridges of different bore and other valuables worth of Rs2 million and handed over to affected people.
Locals presented tributes to the police and also lauded their efforts for the recovery of their looted things.
