Mostly hot, dry weather to persist across country

ISLAMABAD, May 25 (WNP): According to synoptic situation, a westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country, likely to persist during the next 24 hours over northern areas, the Met office Saturday reported.

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara divisions, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir.

As per temperatures recorded on the day were; Turbat 43°C, Shaheed Benazirabad, Chhor 42°C, Jaccobabad, Sukkur, Rohri, Mirphurkhas and Mithi 41°C.
